Unique switchboard question

I will periodically help out with the switchboard at the university I work at. Consequently I get some of the wackiest questions and comments you've ever heard. Today's question had me practically in stitches:

"So, I have a question probably for the Math department but maybe you can help. We were wondering how Romans did numbers with Roman numerals."

Who calls up an 800 # and dives right into a question like that with a switchboard operators??? Too funny. :)
